Grundig b700The Grundig B700 is a mobile phone that looks as if it has Blackberry and PDA capabilities, on the other hand when turned off so that the screen is blank, it does actually look like a calculator, which is maybe a security feature, no one is going to steal a calculator are they?

This is however a serious piece of kit and despite that fact that is doe not have Blackberry, does mean that is some inferior device that looks good but cannot deliver the services that the user is going to need, after all there is nothing worse than buying a product only to find that it cannot deliver the services that the user is going to need. On the B700 there is now standard QWERTY keyboard and runs a program named SureType, which works exactly the same as Blackberry, so no worries there then. The screen is a 2.4 inch QVGA, but surprisingly the B700 is lees than half an inch thick, which is quite extraordinary when it has the screen and keyboard built in.

Other features in a 2 mega pixels camera that has a four times zoom and LED flash for those pictures in bad light, the Push email POP3 Client, MP3 and FM radio for musical entertainment, disappointingly the internal memory is only a mere 100 MB, but this could be easily expanded up to 1 GB by utilizing the microSD memory card slot.

The phone part is, as you would expect Quad Band GSM – Edge smart phone and has the advantage of Bluetooth for connectivity, there is also a USB port which comes in very handy when needing to print off docs or messages.
